What we Offer

Retreat Days

A morning of Mindful Self-care and Nurture.


This is an opportunity to  begin, extend or further embed your mindfulness and compassion practice  in a supportive and nurturing setting.

Please note that there will be periosds of sitting and lying still for up to 30 minutes.

The half-day will include Mindful meditations including some gentle mindful movement. Participants can bring a packed lunch. Tea and coffee will be provided. 


There will also be opportunities for shared discussion or to ask your tutors questions.

Certified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) face to face Course

For 8 Weeks 


Our Mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) online course is an eight-week evidence-based program that offers secular, intensive mindfulness training to assist people with stress, anxiety, depression and pain. 


Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction was developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn in 1979 and is recognised as the gold standard of  mental and physical health in the field. MBSR is a highly researched and evidence-based course taught world-wide.  It is a prerequisite for anyone considering becoming a certified Mindfulness teacher. MBSR is a non-religious and scientifically researched effective intervention in managing stress and enhancing well-being.  


Some of the evidenced-based outcomes following the completion of an 8-week mindfulness program are:  


  • Increased cognitive functions such as mental clarity
  • Reduced stress
  • Increased resilience in difficult situations
  • More effective focus and concentration
  • Reduced heart rate and lower blood pressure
  • Greater self-awareness and awareness of others
  • Strengthening of the immune system
  • Better/deeper sleep

Rose has over 10 years experience supporting schools, social care and healthcare workers and has been teaching mindfulness both in the UK and overseas for six years. 


She is a qualified mindfulness and compassion teacher and co-director of Mindful Educators CIC. Rose’s sensitivity, empathy and compassionate desire to bring transformation to the mental health of all.

Debbie White

 

Debbie's driving force is her passion for connecting with people and making a positive impact on their lives. This passion fuels her mission to share the transformative power of mental fitness, mindfulness, and compassion with individuals from all walks of life. Whether in her role as an engagement lead in preventative NHS healthcare, her coaching for the NHS, provider for Public Health, or her community initiatives, Debbie's dedication to connecting with and uplifting others radiates through in all she does.
